Social Impact Bonds

Social Impact Bonds are novel financial instruments in the social and public sector. They emphasize the measurement of social impact through new forms of collaboration. In Europe and especially in England such projects were initiated in 2010, so meanwhile initial results are available. Various reports, evaluations and articles have since been published, however, mainly in English and formulated in a specialized as well as challenging manner.

It is this practical guide’s goal to set a counterpoint and to summarize the most important results for the German-speaking audience through a hands-on approach. We kindly refer English-speaking readers who are interested in Social Impact Bonds to our sources on page 49 of the guide.
