We are convinced that entrepreneurs can combine both financial revenue and positive impact. To further support impact-driven entrepreneurs, we decided to join forces with like-minded partners.
Founded in 2011 by Prof. Mariana Christen Jakob, SEIF has a longstanding history as an impact venture accelerator with a focus on Switzerland and Europe. Alongside capacity-building programs such as the Impact Academy and the renowned Tech for Impact Awards, SEIF has developed structured and systematic impact assessments for startups based on renowned frameworks, that allow for comparison and benchmarking.
TECH FOR IMPACT AWARDS
Europe-wide yearly Tech for Impact competition
+2200 impact startups have been assessed as part of the competition. Since 2019, SEIF Awards finalists have successfully raised over CHF 135 million in equity funding. To leverage the potential of this program, SEIF decided to join forces with Bluelion.
Corporate leadership development to support entrepreneurs
Experienced employees are matched with impact-driven startup teams, based on their skillset and the entrepreneurs’ coaching needs. It is a unique opportunity for employees to develop coaching skills, while leveraging their experience to a greater purpose. The program gives exclusive access to a pipeline of high potential impact startups. To ensure the quality and continuity of the program, SEIF decided to join forces with Bluelion.
IMPACT MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTING
Measuring and managing impact with professional tools
SEIF offers structured impact measurement tools for data-driven impact management processes for start-ups and impact investors. With +1500 assessed cases, it allows for comparison benchmarking according to criteria such as SDG, technology or impact sector. To leverage the valuable work undertaken by SEIF, we decided to entrust this expertise to Susanne Wittig, founder of Impact Relation.
