The SEIF Tech for Impact Award had a significant influence on our development, in particular on the fundraising. It publicly showed our ambition to go towards impact driven entrepreneurship and attracted, as a result, impact driven investors. One year after, we are still in touch with several of them.

Whether it is speaking to impact investors or impact entrepreneurs, we receive very positive feedback on our systematic and stringent impact assessment approach – which seems to be lacking with other players that style themselves as impact driven.

We have found the Impact Due Diligence report prepared by the SEIF team to be very useful in communicating our impact vision and evidence to potential investors and partners during our Pre-Series A funding round. It’s important for mission-driven companies like Oorja to effectively convey the areas and extent of the impact we drive, while also highlighting aspects on which we can continue to improve. The Impact DD report did this in a visually compelling and succinct way.
